In 2010 we added a the 10 kilometer event. The event was well received by out local running enthusiasts with the event filling up to capacity, 300 in five weeks. For 2013 we are capping the 10 Km at 500. Each runner will receive a bamboo t-shirt.
Start Times
Marathon and Half Marathon will start with Gun Timing at 8:00 AM.
10 K Run will start with Gun Timing at 7:45 AM.
Location
Start/Finish Line, Ecole Camille J. Lerouge School, 5530 42A Avenue, Red Deer.
The start for both races is on the hill part way up 55th Street. All three races head west turning north at the Corner Store. From here the full and half marathon remain heading north, the 10 K will veer to the left to start on the trail system on the south side of the Red Deer River. All races use the same start and finish line.
